A great read, it’s exciting and has a very fast pace. The main character (Alex Rider) is very likable - Artemis Fowl is no match for him - and I can imagine that a lot of my future male students might enjoy reading this book. It’s also the perfect book to be turned into a movie and while there were some differences, I now like the book and the movie.
