The cycle hit the beach and spun out. Emma went into a rolling crouch as she flew free of it, keeping her elbows in, pushing the air hard out of her lungs. She turned her head as she hit the sand, slapping her palms down to roll herself forward, absorbing the impact of the fall through her arms and shoulders, her knees folding up into her chest. The stars wheeled crazily overhead as she spun, sucking in her breath as her body slowed its rolling. She came to a stop on her back, her hair and clothes full of sand and her ears full of the sound of the wildly crashing ocean….

So we’ve got 10 characters and there are 18 characters in the drawing.
Characters we know: James and Matthew (in the middle) and Will, Tessa and Jem in the rowboat.
Here are my guesses (from left to right):
1. Blond guy: Jesse Blackthorn. I think he looks older than the rest. He was born in 1879 and James was born in 1886.
2. Woman/girl and little boy: The boy could be Alexander Lightwood (the first). He was born in 1900 and we know that TLH is set in 1903. He looks like a 3-year-old. I guess the woman/girl is his older sister Anna.
3. The girls: Lucie and Cordelia. Look at this post.
4. Couple between Matthew and James: I’ll go with Christopher Lightwood and Grace Cartwight. Christopher could have Cecily’s black hair.
5. Guys sitting on the ground: Alastair (?) and Charles Fairchild. The redhead is giving me a Fairchild/Branwell vibe. Look at the TID pic, I think he and Henry look similar.
6. The boy and the two girls: Thomas, Barbara and Eugenia Lightwood.
7. Woman with her back to us: Tatiana Blackthorn?
